121008 Super Junior asks fans for MTV EMA ‘Best Asia Act’

Super Junior is currently nominated under the ‘Best Asia Act’ category for the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards and they are asking fans for their votes.
SMTOWN’s official YouTube channel recently uploaded a video featuring Super Junior members reminding the fans and asking them to vote for the group.
Super Junior will be contending against former Super Junior member Hangeng, EXILE, Jolin Tsai and Yuna for the ‘Best Asian Act’ category. The winner will represent Asia in the ‘Best Worldwide Act’ voting.

As many of you know, Super Junior is currently nominated under the “Best Asian Act” category for the 2012 MTV EMAs (Europe Music Awards).
To remind fans, SMTown‘s official YouTube channel recently uploaded a video featuring Super Junior encouraging fans to vote.
You can place your vote here as voting ends on October 14th. If they’re chosen, they will advance to the “Best Worldwide Act” category which was won by Big Bang last year. Psy is also nominated under the “Best Video” category for “Gangnam Style“, but that voting is not open to the public and will be awarded by a panel.

121005 Super Junior’s Eunhyuk reveals SM Entertainment’s visual standards

On the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Story Show Do Dream‘ featuring TVXQ and Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk revealed SM Entertainment‘s standards in terms of visuals.
Eunhyuk shared his first impressions of TVXQ and went on to reveal that Changmin has the type of visual that the agency prefers. He described Kangta and Siwon‘s sharp eyes as “SM Entertainment’s visual standards”.
Eunhyuk also revealed how Yunho was admitted due to his unique acrobatic dance skills and shared his honest impression of him. He stated, “He might not stay for long,” bringing laughter on set.
This exciting episode is set to air on October 6 at 10:25PM KST.

120924 ‘SMTOWN Live World Tour in Jakarta’ attracts 50,000 fans

The ‘SMTOWN Live World Tour III‘, which has been hitting jackpot success with every stop all over the world starting with Los Angeles, Tokyo, Taibei, and Seoul, has completed yet another successful concert in Jakarta, Indonesia.
On September 22nd, the concert was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium where the company’s top name artists like Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior and Super Junior-M, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), and EXO captivated the eyes and ears of the 50,000 member audience.
This was Indonesia’s biggest K-Pop concert to date despite it being the first time SMTOWN Live visited the country. The day before, over 3,500 fans showed up at the international airport to see their favorite stars and follow them around the streets and their hotel.
On the 22nd, the stars met with 93 different media outlets like the RCTI, Silet, and Asian Plus at their press conference.
At the actual concert, the artists prepared special commentary in the local language much to the excitement of their fans and put on a parade of hits like “Keep Your Head Down“, “Sorry Sorry“, “Gee“, “Lucifer“, and many more. The entire four hours were filled with a total of 46 songs, including special collaboration stages that can only be seen through the live tour.
Changmin and Kyuhyun sang a duet of “Just the Way You Are” as a special event and incorporated fans into their performance as they pulled one lucky fan up to the stage in a serenade.
The audience reacted with the utmost excitement and joy, showing their support with various colored lightsticks and placards with pictures of their favorite stars. They even sang a special birthday song for Hyoyeon and Key, who celebrated their birthdays on the 22nd and 23rd respectively.

120923 Super Junior members choose Dongwan as the Shinhwa member they would like to be reborn as

Super Junior members chose Kim Dongwan as the Shinhwa member that they would want to be reborn as.
On the September 22nd broadcast of JTBC‘s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast‘ the members of Shinhwa and Super Junior came together to take over the world with a ‘Global Channel – Hallyu War.’
During the show, before the main battle, Super Junior members Yesung, Eunhyuk, Shindong, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, and Sungmin were asked who they would like to be reborn as out of the Shinhwa members. Kim Dongwan took the top spot.
Sungmin chose Dongwan and said, “He has a great personality and seems to be very understanding.” He then shared that there was a time long time ago when they ran into each other at the practice facility and and Sungmin greeted his senior and surprisingly his senior greeted him warmly.
Eunhyuk also chose Dongwan. He said, “If I was that good looking, I would have used my face more wisely,” and gave such an absurd answer that he brought laughter to the group.
Ryeowook said, “He seems to have a cool personality and a great knack for variety shows.” Ryeowook shared that when he was younger he enjoyed a television show that Kim Dongwan starred in on MBC called, ‘Hooray for Love.’
Kim Dongwan, who received the most votes said, “I am not satisfied with my height,” and shared he would like to be born again as Jun Jin which brought another round of laughter.

120922 Super Junior to make a guest appearance on ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’

Super Junior will be going head to head with Shinhwa on the September 22nd episode of JTBC‘s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast‘.
Super Junior’s Yesung, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Shindong, Sungmin, and Kyuhyun will appear as guests for the episode and have fans anticipating the upcoming show as both groups are famous for their variety skills.
In the show, the members will compete against one another for a Hallyu special of the show. Dongwan will reveal why he wants to be born as Junjin in his next life while Yesung will showcase his rap skills with the guidance of Eric.
