121023 Super Junior’s Donghae tweets a photo with actor Park Geun Hyung

Super Junior‘s Donghae snapped a photo with actor Park Geun Hyung. On the 24th, Donghae tweeted, “The grandpa I love, Park Geun Hyung“, and uploaded a photo of the two of them making hearts at the camera. Although Donghae looks natural with the heart, the 72-year-old actor looked sheepish and was blushing in the photo.
Donghae and Park Geun Hyung had acted together in the drama ‘Panda and the Hedgehog‘, and Donghae had tweeted his respect for the actor previously on October 11th, writing, “The person I respect the most, grandpa Korean Al Pacino Park Geun Hyung! ‘Win Win’ is the best“.
When fans saw the photo, they commented, “I don’t know if this is okay to say… but both of you are so cute…“, “Grandpa Park Geun Hyung is so cute!“, and “Both of you are so lovely“.

121009 Fans knock down safety fence in attempt to shake hands with Super Junior

Super Junior fans got into a bit of a dangerous situation at the 17th Busan International Film Festival‘s ‘APAN Star Road‘ blue carpet.
When the Super Junior members appeared on the blue carpet, fans started to yell and stick their hands out in an attempt to shake the Super Junior members’ hands. The members extended their hands to shake as many hands as possible, but as they did, fans pushed on the barrier even more intensely. Their combined weight knocked the safety fence over onto the blue carpet, and fans fell on top of each other. Thankfully, the police nearby acted quickly, and there were no accidents.

121008 Super Junior asks fans for MTV EMA ‘Best Asia Act’

Super Junior is currently nominated under the ‘Best Asia Act’ category for the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards and they are asking fans for their votes.
SMTOWN’s official YouTube channel recently uploaded a video featuring Super Junior members reminding the fans and asking them to vote for the group.
Super Junior will be contending against former Super Junior member Hangeng, EXILE, Jolin Tsai and Yuna for the ‘Best Asian Act’ category. The winner will represent Asia in the ‘Best Worldwide Act’ voting.

As many of you know, Super Junior is currently nominated under the “Best Asian Act” category for the 2012 MTV EMAs (Europe Music Awards).
To remind fans, SMTown‘s official YouTube channel recently uploaded a video featuring Super Junior encouraging fans to vote.
You can place your vote here as voting ends on October 14th. If they’re chosen, they will advance to the “Best Worldwide Act” category which was won by Big Bang last year. Psy is also nominated under the “Best Video” category for “Gangnam Style“, but that voting is not open to the public and will be awarded by a panel.
